Job description

This is a full time or part time position offering approximately 25-30+ hours per week. Hourly wage $15-$16 DOE

The Sales & Customer Service Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, printers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associates expertly advise our valued customers by supplying accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. Printing and graphic design experience is a huge plus, but not a requirement.

Sales & Customer Service Associate Responsibilities

  • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc. if scheduled to.
  • Expertly operates POS equipment
  • Helps with other Center functions as needed, such as faxing, copying, laminating, and binding
  • Helps customers with expert boxing and packaging, selling the appropriate products to ship materials safely and efficiently
  • Provides completed documentation for shipping
  • Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to arrive to work by 8:15am Monday Through Friday and 9:45 am on Saturday & Sunday If scheduled to open
  • Must be able to work as late as 7:15pm Monday Through Friday and 3:30 pm on Saturday If scheduled to close
  • Must be able to stand for a full 8 hour shift

Sales & Customer Service Associate Qualifications

  • Retail/customer service experience
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
  • Non-smoking environment
  • Willing and able to work a very flexible, part-time schedule that may span Monday through Sunday during seasonal peak periods
  • Must be able to limit cell phone use to breaks and lunch time
