Overview
East Penn is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative who will be responsible for key account management and new logo acquisition focused on DataBank, Vantage, CoreWeave, AWS and Intel or as assigned in the future including all major UPS power equipment OEMs and data center Hyperscale/Colo operators. Responsible for maintaining existing client relations as well as cultivating new business.
Ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of the UPS/data center power infrastructure and related services to promote Deka batteries and services. BMS (battery monitoring systems) application, battery installation and maintenance experience are important, as well.
Responsibilities
    • Manage key account relationships by promoting and selling Deka Batteries and related Deka services.

    • Regular reporting of sales activities and customer requirements/communications to sales management.
    • Identify and pursue key business development opportunities, regionally and nationally, and define strategies to achieve new partnerships with customers and service partners to expand market reach and penetration.
    • Grow total revenue and margin for services and products.

    • Continuous Improvement of internal and external Deka account management procedures and processes.

    • Represent themselves in a professional and business-like manner to customers and vendors.

    • Maintain open and regular communication (both in verbal and written form) with associates, internal departments, customers, and vendors to ensure they are satisfied with the company's products and services, address any issues proactively, and develop long-term relationships.

    • Negotiate contracts with existing and prospective customers.
    • Review of customer budgets and needs for forecasting.
    • Keep current on company platforms, training, expenses, and calendars.
    • Perform other duties as required.
    • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
    • Willing to travel between offices, service locations, and customer sites, at least 50%.

Qualifications
  • (5) Years' experience in the UPS/data center business preferably related to standby power and related services.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; working knowledge of CRM, word-processing, spreadsheet, and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Strong personal management skills.
  • BS Degree in a relevant field is required for this position.
