Job description

Shifts Available:

Sunday to Thursday 2pm to 1am 

We are looking for flexible drivers. For this position you must have a have valid TWIC card

Must be willing to also do OTR to Northern CA & local work (if needed to help support supply chain)

You may be asked to work night shifts (if needed to help support supply chain)

Driver will be in company yard unless sent to Port/Airport/local routes for pick-ups experience with valid TWIC card.

Please note that delivery routes are touch freight (unload pallets by electric pallet jack).
The pallets are pre-made by our warehouse; the driver must check load before they leave.

Must be able to back up 36ft-48ft-53ft Trailers in tight spaces without complications,

Responsibilities:

Driver will assist with loading electric pallet jack, closing trailer doors and releasing loading ramp (training for loading ramp will be provided)

Will be responsible for manually unloading various palatalized products to designated dry, frozen and cold storage areas to local markets/warehouses

Driver will be responsible for port pick-ups if working Port LB/LA; LAX - SAN BA, Local Routes (returns from customers), products for same day production

Be able to successfully complete pre trip- post trip inspections

Be knowledgeable with ELD along with DOT & FMCSA rules and regulations including but not limited to Hours Of Service, and DVIR

Must have valid TWIC card
Must be flexible
Able to lift/push/pull up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment

Experience

No more than 1 moving violations in the past 3 years

Preferred 3+ year experience driving Tractor/Trailer- OTR-LOCAL

Must Be able to back up 36ft- 48ft - 53ft trailer without complications

Language
Must be able to write/read English
