Job description

Poplar Springs Hospital, situated in Petersburg, VA seeks a Nurse Practitioner  for medical services catering to inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. We consider NP, FNPs and PMHNPs for this position. Responsibilities include conducting medical histories & physicals, medical consultations and follow-ups for inpatient, residential treatment and outpatient psychiatry patients.

The ideal candidate will be able to work either a full-time or Part-time work schedule with day shift hours, with weekend call once per month. We prefer candidates with experience or a strong interest in Behavioral Health.

Position Focus:

This role emphasizes addressing the medical aspects of psychiatric patients rather than purely psychiatric issues.
