You’ll work directly with carriers, drivers, customers, and our internal team from pickup through delivery. A big part of the job is knowing what’s happening with each shipment and addressing problems before they become bigger ones.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate freight pickups, transit schedules, and final deliveries.
  • Track active shipments and confirm important pickup and delivery milestones.
  • Communicate directly with carriers and drivers regarding schedules, delays, and special instructions.
  • Provide customers with clear and timely shipment updates.
  • Review bills of lading, delivery confirmations, shipment details, and other freight paperwork.
  • Handle issues such as missed pickups, appointment changes, delayed freight, and delivery exceptions.
  • Work with the operations and customer service teams when a shipment requires additional attention.
  • Keep shipment records accurate and properly updated throughout the day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in freight, transportation, logistics, dispatch, shipping, or a similar operations environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and follow-through.
  • Able to manage several active shipments without losing track of details.
  • Comfortable speaking with carriers, drivers, and customers.
  • Good judgment when dealing with unexpected transportation issues.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with transportation or shipment-tracking software are helpful.
  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

  • Competitive salary based on experience $52,000 - $80,000.
  • Health insurance options.
  • Paid vacation and personal time.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Retirement plan options.Paid training and ongoing development.
  • Opportunity to advance within freight operations, account management, or logistics management.
  • Supportive team environment with room to take on greater responsibility as you grow with the company.
