We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable drivers to join our team for overnight freight transportation between designated warehouses locations.

Position Summary:

As an Overnight Freight Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight using a 26' DOT box truck. This position requires individuals who are highly dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are able to work overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 26' DOT box truck.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight between designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
  • DOT certification and a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC).
    • Note: We offer DOT certification through our partner for interested candidates.
  • Experience operating a 26' DOT box truck is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts (typically 8 hours long) and adapt to a flexible schedule.
  • Full-time availability preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
