Job description

Coverage Tractor Trailer Driver
Receive a $5000 bonus and join a great team. Drivers begin their UPS driving careers as a Coverage Tractor Trailer driver supporting transportation needs. Drivers in this role support transportation operations and may include local solo routes, long haul trips with nightly returns, on property shifting, or sleeper team assignments. Flexibility in adjusting to various assignments is essential. As seniority increases, you'll have the opportunity to bid a route.
What you'll need?
  • Ability to report to the facility within one hour of being notified
  • Availability for days, nights, and weekends, with duties ranging from local routes to long haul trips lasting 4-6 days
  • Valid Class A CDLin your home state
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement
  • No "O" restriction - Must be able to operate a Class A tractor-trailer using a fifth-wheel connection
  • Ability to couple a trailer
  • Satisfactory driving history
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Successful completion of the UPS driver test
  • Reliability and responsibility
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform
