Job description

MUST HAVE Customer Service Representative with Logistics, Distribution, or Manufacturing background. Must have Manhattan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Allocate orders in WMS
  • Generate UCC and Shipping Labels
  • Submit and collect routing requests
  • Create Bill of Ladings
  • Invoice customers for value added services
  • Keep our customers updated on the current status of their orders
  • Assist the Customer Service Representative Manager(s), Captains and other members of the department as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in a 3PL environment strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of general warehouse practices
  • Routing experience and vendor compliance for major retailers
  • LTL vs. TL requirements
  • Small parcel shipping including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship
  • Requirements for VICS bills of ladings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet and manage deadlines

  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic data entry techniques
