Expectations

  • Customer Service - serves at the primary point of contact for families, providing timely and effective service for all inquiries and needs.
    • Answering Phones and directing calls
    • Greeting and assisting Guests, parents, and students
    • Checking guests in and out for security purposes
    • Handling faxes, copies, paperwork, etc.
  • Clerical Tasks
    • Data entry of essential student information into student management software and other platforms.
    • As assigned
  • Security/student help 
    • Tracking students to/from nurse
    • Assisting security, nurse, clinic with retrieving students
    • Updating records as needed
  • Dismissal
    • Assisting with walker line
    • Calling parents for late pick-ups
  • Translation (Spanish, as needed)
    • Phone translation for parent/guardian class 
    • Assisting with in-person translation
    • Translating written communications
  • Attendance and Enrollment support
    •  Processing tardy/early dismissals
    • Inputting absences 
    • Maintain real-time attendance records
    • Communicates with teacher, administration, safety and family 
  • Mail/packages
    • Receiving, sorting and distributing mail and packages
  • Financial/Fee Handling
    • Collecting and tracking student fees 
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned to assist in the flow of information amongst staff and/or families.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated belief in the potential of every child and a commitment to supporting excellence for each student.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Office Administration or Secretarial Training preferred.
  • Active participation in a Christian church.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency (written and spoken) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong initiative.
  • Ability to lift 10+lbs
  • Prior experience in a busy office setting with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated keyboarding proficiency (55+ WPM).
  • Proficiency with office and web-based programs; Google Workspace preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
