Returns Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Returns Specialist inspects and processes product returns in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. This team member will inspect product ensuring accurate return information, repackage merchandise for resale, process compensation for customers through our returns platform and perform general warehouse duties including warehouse cleanup.
In addition to returns, the candidate will work one day per week supporting in-person customers in our warehouse store front. This team member will greet walk-in shoppers, facilitate online order pick ups, process return drop-offs, ring up product purchases and assist customers with product try on. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to handle multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment. Fluent English is required, along with strong communication skills, basic comfort with point-of-sale systems, and a customer-first attitude.
This is a full time position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Unpack returned merchandise, inspect the condition and assess return paperwork
*Package inspected merchandise in alignment with company standards
*Report any issues to team lead/supervisor
*Data entry into a tablet device once a week
*Issue refunds or store credit, and restock product through return platform
*Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times
*During periods of high volume or peak season, provide support to fulfilment and receiving departments
*Other tasks as required to meet team goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Attention to detail
*6-12 month of prior returns or similar warehouse experience
*Basic computer skills (i.e. email, google sheets, downloads)
*Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocols
*Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment
*Ability to actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members
*Ability to accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
*Ability to maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
*Be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
*Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
*Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus
*fluent in English (bilingual is a plus)
