At America’s Best Home Repair, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, reliable, and trustworthy repair services to our community. We know that great customer service starts in the office—and that’s where you come in! We are looking for an organized, dependable, and friendly Office Assistant to keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Position Overview

As our Office Assistant, you will be the primary voice and face of America’s Best Home Repair. You will answer incoming calls, coordinate work orders, handle computer data entry, and schedule service technicians. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and loves helping people resolve home repair needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Phone & Customer Communications:
    • Warmly answer incoming phone calls from residential and commercial clients.
    • Listen attentively to clients' home repair needs and collect accurate details.
    • Provide prompt follow-ups via phone, email, or text.
  • Scheduling & Dispatching:
    • Schedule service calls, estimates, and repair jobs in our management software.
    • Coordinate technician schedules to optimize drive time and maximize efficiency.
    • Communicate job details clearly to repair technicians in the field.
  • Data Entry & Administrative Support:
    • Accurately enter customer information, work orders, and invoice details into company databases.
    • Update job statuses and maintain organized customer records.
    • Assist with light invoicing, payment processing, or customer follow-up calls as needed.
    • Maintain clean, organized digital and physical filing systems.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1+ years of customer service, receptionist, or administrative assistant experience (field service/trades industry experience is a bonus!).
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong tech skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Ability to quickly learn scheduling/field service software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly phone presence.
  • Organization: Highly organized with keen attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Calm under pressure, reliable, and comfortable navigating daily schedule shifts or unexpected home repair emergencies.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English Is a plus
