Job Summary:

Main Line Health is seeking skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologists to join our healthcare team. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases. Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. Evaluate patients' health status by interpreting medical history and diagnostic test results. Consult with patients to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer any queries. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to manage patient care. Document and maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

Board certification in Gastroenterology. Proficient in endoscopic procedures. Excellent patient management skills. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Current and valid medical license.
