Position Summary
The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting for a board-certified imaging radiologist to join our team of compassionate, patient-focused faculty. Our growing, research oriented department encompasses approximately 50,000 square feet and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment in diagnostic radiology, angiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.
The UNMC campus has seen rapid growth in recent years with the construction of several new inpatient and outpatient facilities. In addition to this, planning for a new main campus inpatient facility is also underway. This busy practice is based at our University campus and also supports several satellite locations for our hospital partner, Nebraska Medicine and several other free-standing imaging clinics around the Omaha area. The successful candidate should have outstanding credentials in radiology.
The Department of Radiology offers a collegial and supportive working atmosphere, and as Nebraska's only public academic health sciences center, UNMC is committed to the education of a 21st century health care work force. By supporting the mission of education, discovery, and leading-edge care, the Academic Health Sciences Center aims to improve the health of people and the communities across Nebraska and around the world.
UNMC is nestled in mid-town Omaha with many amenities nearby.
