SUMMARY 

As a Go Mini's truck driver, you will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of portable storage containers to various area business and residential customers (primarily within 60 mile radius).  The yards are currently based in Mesquite & McKinney, TX.

Part Time Opportunity: 20hrs/week
Monday - Sunday: scheduled between the hours of 8am - 5p (Flexibility is a must! Occasional overnight & outside standard hours may occur - early mornings or evening). *Saturdays required*

Responsibilities:

Drive a 25ft company delivery truck to deliver storage containers to clients (average 60 mile round-trip)

Maintain safety standards during loading, transporting, and unloading containers to prevent damage to client property and containers. 

Update delivery system with proof of delivery to maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

Driver must obey all safety protocols, follow instructions during transport and delivery operations and adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Safe operation and control of the 4300 International and GMC box trucks/roll backs

Loading and unloading the Go-Mini Portable containers both empty and full

Maneuver trucks into loading zones, secure containers with tie downs and safety chains

Perform basic maintenance i.e. refuel, oil change, fluids, minor repair etc.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections daily using fleet management software app, report any issues to supervisor immediately

Regularly wash trucks and containers to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Keep the container yard organized and clean.

Assist in the receiving and setup and maintenance of new storage containers onto the lot.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups and address customer questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure fuel efficiency and timely service.

Utilize GPS and other navigation tools effectively.

Proficiency in using phone applications as required to document fuel purchases and other information

Utilize the Timeero app for mileage tracking and accurate reporting.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of hours worked using the ADP payroll app.

Be proficient in using other relevant technology and applications as required.

Pass out flyers and promotional materials to potential customers.

Engage in tasks that promote business growth and customer acquisition.

Be available to work on scheduled days in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls.

Adapt to changes in delivery schedules and priorities as needed.

Work closely with the fleet manager and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Communicate effectively with the customer service representatives to coordinate schedules and address any issues.

Qualifications:

- DOT Medical Card and Employer references is required for all drivers 

- Minimun of 3yrs driving experience with 26ft trucks. 

- Clean motor vehicle driving record. Class A is a plus 

- High school diploma or equivalent 

- 1 year tow truck or flatbed driving experience strongly preferred.

- Forklift operation experience preferred, Certification is a plus

- commercial driver's license (CDL) not required. 

- Great verbal and written communication 

- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols  

- Mechanical skills a plus 

- Sales skills a plus 

- Background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen required

Compensation:
$20 - $23/hour depending on experience
