Job Summary
The Warehouse Shipper provides accurate and timely distribution processes. These processes include all aspects of the flow of materials including material handling operations, documentation, inventory and quality functions. This role performs in multiple environments such as a non-climate controlled warehouse, office functions, and meeting rooms.
This opening is for first shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM) Monday - Friday
This position qualifies for a $2,000 sign-on bonus
Essential Responsibilities
  • Unloading/receipt materials from various platforms. (Containers, trucks, parcel and rail)
  • Counts, identifies, labels, and directs material against invoices and order pick tickets.
  • Ensures production materials are processed and identified in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and fiscal inventory as directed.
  • Prepares items for shipment by pulling items, packaging process and shipment documentation.
  • Operates forklifts, shrink wrap machines, manual labeling, stenciling and dock equipment.
  • Uses SAP to record, manifest and log shipments throughout the supply chain.
  • SAP, Microsoft and various applications used to communicate and train based on order availability and scheduling.
  • Ensures all materials are moved, stored or shipped in compliance with company and government regulations including D.O.T., HAZMAT and traditional shipping standards.
  • Supports LEAN and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Familiarity with I.C.C. regulations, D.O.T. regulations and proper labeling techniques.
  • Ability to work within an environment that requires bending, stooping, climbing, pushing/pulling, reaching (at or above shoulder height), twisting at the waist.
  • Ability to work in an environment with the following conditions; chemical and mechanical operations, confined spaces, dust and fumes, working within safe but close proximity to forklift and machine operations, exposure to various temperature and humidity, hearing or talking around loud machinery, and wearing personal protective equipment.
