Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid - large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

Job Description

Designs software QA methods and procedures for use by QA and development staff to ensure all information systems meet minimum company standards and end user requirements 
- Develop QA reusable test plans within Jira by creating concise test cases driven by parameter driven oracle sql queries 
- Develop automated UI data validation processes in Selenium 
- Develop automated QA monitoring tests of application requirements using a combination of PERL/Python and Oracle SQL 
- Work closely with the other members of the Development Team and Fraud Governance team to review the designs of applications, implement test plans, and test the quality of software products. 
- Manage unix based crontab jobs, configuration files, and profiles 
- Manage oracle scheduler jobs and processes managed via the application UI 
- Review logs files in a Unix environment, trouble-shoot QA/UAT bugs prior to reporting to development 
- Work closely with the Development team to insure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed 
- Work closely with the development team to insure requirements are meaningful and correct 
- Document and communicate any bugs that arise as well as any impediments to completing testing as scheduled 
- Communicate and assist UAT team regarding software defects and system test environments 
BS in Computer Science, MIS, business or equivalent education/training/experience 
Experience of reporting tools / reports testing - Crystal Reports, Business Object, advanced SQL usage 
Experience of UNIX servers - full awareness of OS and variety of commands, ability to read and test UNIX shell scripts 
Telecoms business knowledge 
Developing and executing quality assurance test scripts, tests plans and checklists 
Application of software development life cycle concepts
