Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Unix Engineer with 1-3 years of experience or equivalent internship experience. The role involves supporting Unix/Linux environments, assisting in system maintenance, and collaborating with senior engineers to ensure smooth operations.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Unix/Linux servers
    • Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed
    • Apply system patches and updates under supervision
    • Support application deployments on Unix/Linux platforms
    • Write basic scripts for automation and routine tasks
    • Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures
    • Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams
    Qualifications
    • 1-3 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience or relevant internship
    • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python, or Perl)
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
