Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Knowledge in of UNIX Operating systems like Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Ubuntu/SUSE and Solaris should be flexible and have cross platform working knowledge
• In-depth familiarity and strong troubleshooting skills in Unix operation
• Administration of physical and virtual infrastructure UNIX based hosts in complex heterogeneous environments
• Fundamentals Storage technologies, SAN and RAID concepts
• Datacenter Operations
• Hands on experience in configuring and deploying Hardware devices like HP DL/BL Series Servers, Sun Hardware, Super Micro and Dell - Enclosures/Blade hardware platform
• Knowledge of Micro services like Docker & Kubernetes
• Configuration tools like Ansible is required
• Investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availability
• knowledge on server PXE installation, kickstart configurations, patching and package management
• Responsibilities include managing of servers across the locations which includes Linux, Solaris, and a footprint of VMware in a critical production environment
• Knowledge on configuring Veritas cluster & Pacemaker
• Act as Escalation point for engineers for technical and process related issues
• Partnering with different representatives across the company
• After-hours escalations relating to critical business activities
• Knowledge transfer among multiple team members and sharing of service responsibilities, Rotational hand-offs
