• Work on complex, broad impact initiatives / projects / issues and provide high level systems consultation to technology teams.
• Review , analyze and work on complex technical challenges and escalated production issues, evaluating multiple factors such as potential design alternatives, platform enhancements, periodic system reviews, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Make decisions on technical changes, system enhancements, and architectural adjustments.
• Consult with engineering teams on change design, applying deep knowledge of process controls, operational standards, and technology governance to guide new initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical peers, cross functional partners, and leadership to resolve systems support issues and drive operational excellence.
• Leverage AI enhanced observability, anomaly detection, and intelligent alerting tools to improve root cause analysis, reduce noise, and optimize system performance.
• Utilize AI assisted based troubleshooting tools, and automation frameworks to streamline incident resolution and operational workflows.
• Incorporate predictive analytics and AIOps insights into planning, capacity management, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of application production support experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure product and service control management, including policies and standards, business readiness, exceptions management, or alignment with enterprise compliance and risk frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Unix, Autosys, ITRS, and AppDynamics.
• Hands on experience with AI driven monitoring, AIOps platforms integrated into production support environments.
• Experience utilizing generative AI or LLM based tools to assist with diagnostics, system pattern analysis, documentation, or triage workflows.
• An industry standard technology certification.
• Knowledge and understanding of test driven development practices.
• Experience designing or developing training materials for complex technology systems, including those in Agile development settings.
• Financial accounting tool experience is a plus.
