Job Description:

Extensive background in Unix/Linux systems administration, scripting or large scale software development.

Strong knowledge of Nginx/Apache web server and Tomcat container configuration

Deep knowledge of automated deployment tools such as Chef or Puppet

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery

work closely with development teams (DevOps)

strong scripting experience (BASH/Perl/Ruby)

Knowledge of large-scale web delivery platforms

Experience with AWS EC2/S3 service provisioning

Experience with NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, CouchDB)

Knowledge of Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch

Curiosity for understanding and learning complex systems

Ability to diagnose and resolve product, software and performance issues independently

Complete understanding of toolsets necessary to debug, identify and resolve site issues

Ability to see opportunities for improvement, take ownership and closely work with development team to drive product improvement
