UNIX/Linux Security Engineer Job Requirements

We are looking to accelerate delivery timelines for software updates across our range of tooling used to manage Kerberos authentication and related activities.

  • Ideal: Highly experienced UNIX/Linux systems/security engineer proficient in C systems and network programming and systems integration in an enterprise environment
  • Must have:
    • Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments
    • Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and network programming IN C
    • Experience with Perl programming
    • Awareness of security concepts and defensive programming
    • Familiarity with Kerberos
    • Ability to work to delivery deadlines
  • Very nice to have
    • Experience of contributing to open source projects
    • Familiarity with Python
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with deployment automation pipelines (Jenkins)
    • Kerberos development experience
    • Comfort working in an agile development environment
