Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 10 + years of experience in Linux Administration , Red Hat and VERITAS Cluster experience
Experience Required:
Must have:
• Should have experience in performing L3 (level 3) - Subject Matter Expertise in UNIX - Primary Linux, Secondary AIX
• Must have current strong experience with Red Hat and VERITAS Cluster Suite and system Automation
• Strong scripting knowledge: Perl scripting, shell scripting and command line utilities
• Must attain and keep current appropriate industry certifications (Red hat Certified Engineer or Red hat Certified Systems
Administrator).

• Builds, package installs, performance tuning, root cause analysis, ldap/kdc config
• Native LVM for RHEL and AIX (5-7 years)

• Project representation - Represent the team on assigned projects, planning and implementation
• Processes - Global standards, compliance, security, change management, asset management
• Server Migrations - Database, Application, Web server migrations between Datacenters
• Server and Process Automation
• Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
• Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
