Clerk III | Department of Rehabilitation Therapies
Join our dynamic team in the Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Health Care! We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Clerk III to be the face of our clinical operations. In this high-energy, fast-paced role, you will be the vital first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional reception services, managing seamless check-in/out processes, and expertly coordinating clinic appointments. If you are a meticulous multitasker who thrives on helping others and brings a positive, friendly demeanor to every interaction, we want you to grow with us in this supportive and engaging atmosphere! This position is located on our Medical Center University Campus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities | Clerk III:
    Knowledge of office routines and functions sufficient to refer visitors and telephone calls to route correspondence by name and functional area.
    Knowledge of institutional and unit policies, processes and forms.
    Knowledge of proper format, grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization.
    Skill in utilizing computer software packages and online systems.
    Skill in operating office equipment. 
    Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public.
    Ability to follow oral and written instructions and apply institutional and other policies accurately.
    Ability to gather, evaluate, and display data in appropriate format and keep accurate records.
    Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
 

Minimum Eligibility Requirements | Clerk III
    Any combination of related clerical office experience. Related undergraduate education and or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment.

    Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 7:45am-5:15pm. This is a rotating schedule.
    Location: On site, this position is performed fully on the campus of UI Health Care's University Medical Center at 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City 52242.

    Pay Level: 08.
