Security Officer

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $17.50/hour, based on experience
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Work Schedule: Rotating Shift Schedule
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
Serves as an armed Security Officer for the OU-Tulsa Campus and Campus Security Authority (CSA) by fulfilling training and reporting obligations related to campus safety protocols. May assist with traffic control points, fire prevention measures, and parking enforcement.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED.

Required Certifications and Licenses:
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles on campus or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
  • CLEET Security Certification or completed Phase I, II & IV.
