What You Will Do:
Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Security Segment to support a U.S. Federal Government client. As part of the client's IT PMO team, the Product Owner will lead product ownership activities supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including backlog management, requirements development,agile planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight across multiple business workstreams.

The individual will regularly interact with senior government officials, staff, business owners, and external technical teams and will be engaged in a diverse set of program-specific tasks related to the organization's modernization efforts. The individual shouldpossessa willingness to be flexible in supportingnumerouswork products and deliverables.

Tasks include:

  • Serve as Product Owner across one or more product teams.

  • Lead requirements elicitation efforts and translate business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

  • Maintain and prioritize product backlogs in Azure DevOps in alignment with leadership priorities.

  • Work closely with Business Owners to define requirements, prioritize work, andvalidatedelivered capabilities.

  • Guidebacklog refinement, sprint planning, and product prioritization activities.

  • Analyze business processes andidentifyopportunities for process improvement and modernization.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve blockers, manage dependencies, and support successful product delivery.

  • Develop status reports, dashboards, executive briefings, and other materials that support effective decision-making.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE Secret (or higher) Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • US Citizenship is contractually required.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

  • FOUR (4) years professional experience with at least TWO (2) years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, BusinessAnalystor similar Agile product management role.

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

  • Experience engaging business stakeholders andfacilitatingrequirements discussions.

  • Ability to communicate applicable functional and technical subject matterexpertiseto management and others

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience serving as a Product Owner on a Federal Government program.

  • Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs in Azure DevOps.

  • Experience prioritizing product backlogs in Azure DevOps.Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or other cloud-based software products.

  • Agile certifications (Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO),SAFeProduct Owner/Product Manager, Certified Scrum Master, etc.).

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using them on aFederalprogram.

  • Experiencebuilding relationships,managing customer expectations,andcommunicating across all levels of staff and leadership.

  • Self-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-contractor environment.

  • Comfort navigating complex stakeholder relationships and governance processes.

  • Strong coordination and liaison skills across business and technical groups

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
