Position Overview

The Marketing Intern - Content Creator will support the university's Marketing & Communications team by developing engaging visual and graphic design content that highlights campus life, academic programs, and university initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, versatile student interested in storytelling across multiple platforms, including photography and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit photos at university events, including academic, campus announcements and student life activities
  • Design promotional materials for print and digital platforms, including flyers, posters, social media graphics, and email visuals
  • Maintain organized files of photos, graphics, and written materials
  • Assist in developing visual content that aligns with the university's brand standards and messaging
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Upperclassmen preferred
  • Strong creative skills across at least two of the following areas: photography, writing, or graphic design
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) or similar platforms
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in event photography, content writing,
  • Current Mass Communication major or equivalent
