As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will patrol assigned areas, complete vehicle-based patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support tenants and visitors with great customer service and communication while working as part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time / Late Evening Shift 

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking structures, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and general property protocols at the location.
• Communicate with tenants, guests, contractors, and first responders as needed to help address security-related matters and/or ongoing issues at the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
