As a Security Officer Access Control in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure and welcoming environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity in every security-related interaction.

Pay Rate: $19.76 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access control points by checking credentials, visitor logs, and/or vehicle information before allowing entry or exit, helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Assist with screening incoming and outgoing traffic, including employees, contractors, guests, and delivery drivers, while following post orders and property rules.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting access concerns, damaged barriers, and/or unusual conditions that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
