As a Security Officer Access Control in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure and welcoming environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access control points by checking credentials, visitor logs, and/or vehicle information before allowing entry or exit, helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Assist with screening incoming and outgoing traffic, including employees, contractors, guests, and delivery drivers, while following post orders and property rules.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting access concerns, damaged barriers, and/or unusual conditions that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
