• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions grounded in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, focusing on the unique challenges of addiction recovery.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, leveraging appropriate interventions to facilitate their journey towards recovery and wellness.
• Actively advocate for clients' rights and access to essential resources, ensuring that their voices are heard in matters concerning their care and recovery.
• Engage in program development and contribute to evaluation efforts, utilizing data to improve service delivery and meet grant reporting requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with a range of community organizations, government entities, and volunteer networks, enhancing service integration and resource sharing.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to training initiatives, and engage in community outreach to elevate awareness of available services.

The clients you serve will primarily include individuals and families experiencing challenges related to addiction, mental health, and holistic recovery. Working within a detox center, you will engage with a diverse population, often facing complex socio-economic factors that impact their wellness. Your intervention will be critical in fostering personal growth and resilience, addressing both immediate and long-term needs.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care and strong understanding of social justice advocacy.
• Superior empathy, communication, and organizational skills that facilitate effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.

• Prior employment in a nonprofit environment or similar setting that emphasizes community outreach and social services.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, specifically in addiction recovery or mental health settings.
• Familiarity with local community resources and a keen understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction and mental health issues.
