Job description

Overview:
TEKsystems is seeking a UC Administrator and UC Engineer in support of a long term contract at Ford Island. These individuals will deliver on any UC issues that arise and execute on new installs/projects to help ensure communication services are online. Requirements:
• BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Active Secret security clearance. Ideal Technical Requirements:
• Experience with one or multiple Cisco, Avaya or Oracle voice platforms including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC) and Avaya Aura Application Server.
• Expertise in SIP internetworking signaling and call flow.
• Demonstrable experience of advanced fault analysis to isolate and diagnose network problems for routing, switching, security and large scale voice implementations.
• Working knowledge of Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) including associated G.711 and G.729 codecs and Digital Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF).
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and or Avaya Aura soft switches.
• Experience with Oracle SBCs and other voice media gateway appliances.
• Experience supporting distributed firewall infrastructure.
• Experience creating/supporting IPSec MPLS VPN infrastructure.
• Experience implementing and supporting BGP routing protocols. Desired Experience:
- Platforms: Voice over IP experience / call manager is great to have.
- Ribbon communications / oracle SBC's are the main focus of this specific position - Ribbon is a secure cloud provider and a recently implemented platform in this environment.
- SIP protocol experience.
- Standard networking (IP/r&S/virtualization - VMWare/firewall - primarily cisco ASA's). ---
