What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.

  • Analyze and translate system requirements into detailed software specifications and designs.

  • Implement, test, and debug software solutions to meet project requirements and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance software quality and development practices.

  • Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Professional Software development experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Linux and/or real-time embedded systems such vxWorks or Integrity.

  • Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.

  • Familiarity with gRPC and Protobufs

  • Familiarity with Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.

  • Active U.S. government security clearance (if required for the role).

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
