An established Pharmacy in Plano Tx is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications
  • Process and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately
  • Perform pharmaceutical calculations as necessary
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications
  • Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing, adjudications, and billing
  • Handle adjudication issues and troubleshoot billing discrepancies
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to provide excellent patient 
  • Compounding both sterile and non-sterile preparations
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
