This position is based onsite at our advanced facility in Rochester, New York, which is fully equipped to handle urgent and emergent medical cases. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, registered nurses, and administrative staff, to deliver coordinated and compassionate care. • Perform comprehensive patient examinations, including taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical assessments to evaluate patient health.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and imaging studies, to support accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose and manage various acute medical conditions, developing treatment protocols that adhere to best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, ensuring ongoing monitoring and adjustments as necessary.
• Prescribe medications, monitor their efficacy, and adjust dosages based on patient responses to therapy.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up actions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, proper health practices, and new treatment options, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their health decisions.
• Engage in professional development activities, staying current with medical advancements and participating in relevant research initiatives.

As a Physician Assistant in our Urgent Care department, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals of all ages experiencing a variety of acute conditions. You will be instrumental in addressing immediate medical needs, ranging from minor health issues to more serious emergencies, all while promoting patient-centered care that encourages empowered health decisions.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a recognized program.
• Active and valid Physician Assistant license in New York State.
• DEA registration number is required to prescribe controlled substances.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork mindset with a commitment to contributing in a performance-driven health system.

• Previous experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to streamline patient care documentation.
• Participating in patient education initiatives or community health programs.

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 140,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
