We are seeking a Director of Strategic Portfolio Marketing – Systems, Solutions & Services to lead global marketing efforts for our IT Systems, Infrastructure Solutions and Services business units’ products, technologies, and end‑to‑end systems. This role serves as the primary strategic voice for the portfolio, combining deep expertise in customer applications, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and go‑to‑market execution. As a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team and Portfolio Marketing Center of Excellence, the Director serves as the Marketing lead partner for the IT Systems, Infrastructure Solutions and Services business unit with end‑to‑end accountability for marketing strategy, product positioning, technology messaging, launch and campaign execution to enable the business unit performance. This is an onsite position at our Global Headquarters in Westerville, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Own the IT Systems, Infrastructure Solutions and Services business units’ product and technology relationship within Marketing and lead the holistic positioning, value proposition, solutions and marketing initiatives across all product lines and offerings (Single‑Phase UPS, Rack PDU, Racks, KVM, Modular and prefabricated IT and Infrastructure Solutions, Converged Infrastructure, Services offerings of consulting, implementation, project, lifecycle, digital and optimization, etc.).
  • Develop comprehensive product launch and program plans for new and existing solutions that deliver on our multilayer offering position of products, end‑to‑end systems, converged infrastructure and services.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Marketing content (e.g., written, media, events, planning, etc.) for assigned business units.
  • Own product, systems, and solutions messaging & expertise that drive campaigns driving depth of knowledge in external communications, promotion and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in marketing – across brand, communications, digital/web, demand generation, and other business unit marketing leaders – to deliver on marketing objectives.
  • Understand market trends, industry trends, and competitive landscape to shape positioning strategy.
  • Track and provide offering trend analysis and insights to Marketing and Global Product Management teams.
  • Collaborate with global and regional products and sales teams to deliver sales enablement materials and tools.
  • Assist in creating go‑to‑market strategies and tactics to effectively position and sell the portfolio.
  • Present portfolio marketing initiatives, plans and outcomes to Executive and Senior leadership and cross functional teams.
  • Support regional marketing programs for pipeline creation, market growth opportunities and customer engagement.
  • Lead and develop a team of product marketing professionals and engaged with both direct and indirect team members to ensure world‑class execution and alignment.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, engineering, or product management, including at least five in a people leadership role, in the B2B space.
  • Data Center, IT, Digital Infrastructure, or similar ecosystem and industry experience.
  • Technical aptitude, ability to pick up technical concepts quickly, and navigate complex and broad product portfolios.
  • Knowledge in critical digital infrastructure – IT Systems, Infrastructure Solutions and Services business units’ product and technologies.
  • Strong leadership presence, presentation skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence senior executives and cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and teams across multiple geographies.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies for creating world‑class marketing, value propositions and messaging strategies that drive brand impact and opportunity pipeline for new and existing offerings.
  • Goal oriented self‑motivated. Comfortable with ambiguity and has the know‑how to define clear objectives, owning processes/projects and seeing them through to completion to deliver results.
  • Highly collaborative, able to work across functional teams.
  • Proactive communicator with strong attention to detail.
  • Data analysis experience and ability to effectively communicate findings while tailoring to variety of different audiences.
  • Enthusiastic and persistent problem solver.
  • Excellent organizational skills and process oriented.
