Job description

Premier Health is seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to provide comprehensive advanced heart failure care for cardiac patients to join our dynamic employed physician team. Physician will treat patients with:

  • Acute decompensated heart failure
  • Cardiomyopathy
  • Evaluate for mechanical cardiac support and cardiac transplant
  • General cardiology

Premier Healths Cardiovascular Program performs all aspects of cardiac surgery (except LVAD and transplant) and general thoracic surgery. The program performs over 500 open-heart surgeries per year, 100 TAVRs, ECMO, and over 300 general thoracic cases.

Miami Valley Hospital is a member of Premier Health and is a Level I Trauma Center with CareFlight Air and Mobile services, the areas first and fastest air ambulance service. Miami Valley Hospitals cardiology services include open-heart surgery, structural heart procedures, cardiac and vascular stent placement, Watchman Device, and electrophysiology studies. There is a dedicated cardiovascular ICU, along with dedicated heart and vascular medical floors.
