  • Position Summary: As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a vital role in providing essential non-medical assistance to our clients, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and independence.     Key Responsibilities:
    1. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
    � Provide support with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
    � Assist clients in maintaining their independence with dignity and respect.
    2. Companionship:
    � Foster a caring and supportive relationship with clients through conversation and companionship.
    � Engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
    3. Meal Preparation:
    � Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
    � Support with feeding as necessary, ensuring clients receive adequate nutrition.
    4. Medication Reminders:
    � Assist clients in adhering to medication schedules by providing reminders.
    � Ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
    5. Mobility Assistance:
    � Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
    � Utilize mobility aids and equipment safely and effectively.
    6. Light Housekeeping:
    � Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
    � Organize living spaces to enhance comfort and accessibility.
    7. Communication:
    � Maintain open and clear communication with clients, their families, and the care team.
    � Report any changes in the client's condition promptly.
    8. Documentation:
    � Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
    � Complete daily logs and reports as required by company policies.
    Qualifications:
    � High School Diploma or equivalent.
    � Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
    � Completion of relevant training programs or certifications.
    � Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong sense of empathy.
    � Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
