What We're Looking For:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

What You'll Do:

  • Manages assigned staff, supplies, and equipment, promoting teamwork and ensuring quality care on the unit.
  • Provides supervision, coaching, and in-service education for nursing assistants and medication aides, ensuring compliance with resident needs and regulations.
  • Oversees onboarding and training of new nursing staff to NLCS standards.
  • Assesses residents' physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs, securing additional services as needed.
  • Completes and documents admissions, ongoing assessments, and care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Revises care plans based on continual assessment and communicated changes to the RN Care Coach.
  • Demonstrates clinical competence, intervenes appropriately, and ensures thorough documentation.
  • Coordinates interdisciplinary care, communicates effectively, and addresses residents' psychological needs.
  • Administers treatments, medications, and IV fluids safely and according to policies.
  • Responds promptly to crises, participates in direct care, and ensures a safe, clean environment.
  • Communicates with physicians and supervisors, coordinates testing and procedures, and ensures smooth unit operations.
  • Delegates tasks, monitors staff performance, and ensures resident satisfaction.
  • Assists with resident care, emergencies, admissions, discharges, and other duties as assigned
