Job description

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As an Interventional Neurology RN, you will work alongside neurologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing interventional procedures. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of neurological advancements and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Perform comprehensive patient assessments prior to interventional procedures, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical examinations, and assessing patient readiness.

โ€ข Assist neurologists and interventional radiologists during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

โ€ข Monitor patients closely during and after procedures, assessing vital signs, neurological status, and potential complications.

โ€ข Administer medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed.

โ€ข Educate patients and their families about the procedure, recovery process, and potential risks.

โ€ข Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.

โ€ข Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

โ€ข Maintain a sterile and organized procedural environment, adhering to infection control standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Active Florida RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
  • Proven experience in an Interventional Neurology or similar acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong Clinical Assessment and Critical Thinking Skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) Preferred
