You will serve an elderly patient population, managing their wound care needs and contributing to their overall well-being in a day-to-day clinical setting focused on continuity of care and patient-centered outcomes. We are seeking an autonomous and compassionate clinician with a background in adult, family, or geriatric care. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex chronic conditions, particularly in wound care, and thrives in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment, working closely with facility staff and attending physicians. ## Key Responsibilities - Provide wound care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities - Assess and manage acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment - Conduct advanced care planning and manage chronic disease conditions - Prescribe medications including controlled substances in accordance with Arkansas law - Communicate with nursing home staff and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans ## Qualifications - Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas (required) - National board certification (AANP or ANCC) - Active DEA licensure - Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties - Experience with wound assessment, NPIAP staging, advanced wound products, and wound vac experience; wound certification preferred - Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) ## Benefits - Competitive per diem pay rate, malpractice insurance coverage, recertification reimbursement, flexible scheduling - Mileage reimbursement, disability insurance Schedule - Per Diem / PRN-based schedule serving skilled nursing facilities in Harrison, AR - Flexible per diem scheduling based on facility needs and provider availability Location Harrison, AR 72601 Harrison, Arkansas, nestled in the scenic Ozark Mountains, offers a tranquil lifestyle with a cost of living approximately 19% lower than the national average.
