What You'll DoTraffic Control Laborer
  • Load, unload, deliver, and install traffic control equipment.
  • Set up and remove lane, ramp, and road closures.
  • Install and remove pavement markings and roadside safety devices.
  • Maintain work zones, traffic control equipment, and shop equipment.
  • Use maps and plan sheets to ensure proper equipment placement.
Pavement Marking Laborer
  • Load and unload pavement marking materials and equipment.
  • Prepare work areas and install pavement markings, including epoxy, thermoplastic, MMA, and permanent tape.
  • Operate hand grinders and assist with roadway layout.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles.
  • Transport materials and maintain accurate daily job logs.
What We're Looking For
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Ability to maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (FEDMED) in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively, reach overhead, bend, kneel and twist.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk long distances consistently and drive for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.
  • Willingness to work in a potentially hazardous environment near traffic.
