RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Dev Engineer II in Bellevue, WA.
Salesforce Developer - Maintenance, Support & Migration (Internal Tools/Retail Tech):
This is a reconstructed description based on prior postings for support focused Salesforce engineering roles.
Role Focus:
* Maintain and enhance an existing Salesforce org used by internal teams
* Support ongoing platform stability, bug resolution, technical debt cleanup, and performance tuning
* Lead or contribute to Salesforce org migrations, including data migration, metadata refactoring, and integration updates
* Ensure smooth operation of business-critical workflows during and after migration events
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and resolve production issues across Apex, Lightning components, integrations, and automation
* Perform root cause analysis and implement long term fixes to improve system reliability
* Support org consolidation, Hyperforce migrations, or instance to instance moves (common in internal restructuring cycles)
* Refactor legacy Apex, Visualforce, and workflow rules into modern patterns (Flows, LWC, modular Apex)
* Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure safe deployment practices across multiple sandboxes
* Collaborate with business users, program managers, and cross functional engineering teams to plan migration timelines and minimize downtime
* Create and maintain documentation for support processes, migration steps, and system architecture

* Strong debugging skills and comfort working in complex, multi team environments
* Experience with CI/CD (Git, SFDX, Copado, Jenkins, or similar)
* Bonus: Experience with Hyperforce migration, Salesforce maintenance windows, or large-scale refactoring
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
