Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming member calls regarding account services, online banking, loans, transfers, account maintenance, and other financial needs.
  • Deliver exceptional member service while identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that meet members' needs.
  • Assist members with online banking, the mobile app, and basic technical troubleshooting.
  • Access member accounts to review balances, transactions, statements, and loan information.
  • Research and resolve member account concerns accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet established service, sales, and performance goals.
  • Promote ECU products and services, including loan opportunities.
  • Assist members with initiating Consumer and Mortgage loan applications.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious activity or potential fraud risks.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of member information
  • Contribute to achieving team performance goals.
  • Create a positive, professional experience with every member interaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
  • Two or more years of Credit Union or banking experience preferred.
  • Previous Call Center experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable identifying member needs and cross-selling appropriate products and services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • NMLS licensed or ability to obtain licensing
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Dependable, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturdays: 8:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
