About the Position
A Plumber in Facilities Engineering at Harris Health performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to Plumbing systems at our hospital. You will install, maintain, and repair various plumbing systems under the direction of the Facilities Engineering department. This may include troubleshooting systems, replacing or repairing malfunctioning fixtures, and installing new pipes.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Journeyman level license or equivalent certification
    • 1st Grade Stationary Engineering from the City of Houston accepted
    • Trade/Craft specific licensure or certification accepted
  • 4 years of building maintenance experience preferred
  • Valid Texas Driver's License preferred
  • Ability to pass skill assessment established by the Facilities Engineering Department
