What is a union plaster?

A Union Plaster job involves applying plaster, stucco, or similar materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth or decorative finish. Union plasterers are part of a labor union, which provides job security, standardized wages, and benefits. They work on both residential and commercial projects, using various tools and techniques. Additionally, strong performers may have opportunities to become instructors or pursue roles in project management within the union or contracting companies.
