Job description

Job Overview:
Responsible for issues related to maintenance and improvement of equipment and other duties as assigned.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area.
  • Maintenance of equipment and building.
  • Maintenance of lawn, trees and other landscaping features including streambed.
  • Pest and Rodent control.
  • Building Improvements.
  • Maintaining proper storage protection for items stored in building storage.
  • Knows all applicable Sanitation and Safety SOP's.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, know company policies and be willing to follow them.
  • Maintains excellent communication and relationships with other employees to foster team effort.
  • Seeks out new ways to improve productivity.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Additional duties may be assigned and/or required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a strong mechanical background.
  • Be familiar with electrical up to 480 volts AC to low voltage.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and have a willingness to learn new equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adhere to schedule work hours.
  • Maintain proper hygiene.
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English.

Education Requirements:
  • Competent in My Manager Plus
  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to squat and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Twisting and reaching are required.
  • Pushing and pulling heavy loads.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 55 pounds regularly.
