Job description

Construction Laborer Stream & Wetland Restoration

Position Overview

Location: Yadkinville, NC

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $20 per hour or higher depending on experience.

We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Groundman / General Laborer to assist with site operations focused in stream restoration work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating chainsaws and other hand tools, with the ability to support daily field activities efficiently and safely. Experience operating track trucks or mini excavators is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor duties to support site operations and crews.

  • Safely operate and maintain chainsaws and other hand tools for clearing, cutting, or ground work.

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

  • Support equipment operators and crew members as directed.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a general labor, construction, or site support role preferred.

  • Experience with chainsaws and other hand tools required.
