Your Role: Essential Responsibilities 

  • Operate and monitor rock, sand, and gravel plant equipment to batch, crush, and sort materials for construction projects. 

  • Control machinery from the panelboard, ensuring smooth feeding, crushing, and sifting processes. 

  • Observe gauges and machinery to uphold strict quality and safety standards. 

  • Keep the worksite and plant clean, organized, and safe for all team members. 

  • Conduct routine plant maintenance and report any major issues to supervisors for quick resolution. 

  • Assist in repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed. 

  • Mentor and train newer team members, helping them grow and succeed. 

  • Performing general labor duties as required—your reliability makes a difference every day.

What We’re Looking For 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 

  • Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B CDL preferred) and clean driving record. 

  • At least 2 years’ related experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train motivated individuals. 

Work Requirements 

  • 18 years of age or older. 

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check. 

  • Valid DOT medical card (or willingness to obtain one). 

  • Strict adherence to all safety rules and procedures. 

  • I am willing to travel, work nights or weekends, and handle extended hours as needed. 

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and on various shifts. 

  • Commitment to always wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE). 

Skills & Knowledge 

  • Experience operating front-end loaders and skid loaders is a plus. 

  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills for tracking materials and time records. 

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate clearly with the team. 

  • Some familiarity with Excel, Word, electricity, and mechanics is helpful. 

  • Leadership potential—you’ll help direct and train others in your role. 

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and use hands for extended periods. 

  • Comfortable working at heights, in tight quarters, and on hard surfaces. 

  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. unassisted. 

Work Environment 

  • Exposure to the elements—outdoor work in all seasons. 

  • A noisy and safety-sensitive environment, with occasional exposure to chemicals or moving machinery.
