CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Rotates to different Member Centers and departments to meet intermittent staffing needs. Demonstrates a strong, needs-based sales and service focus as defined and measured in the Member Center and Corporate Balanced Scorecards. Determines financial needs through a strategic questioning approach, educating and cross-selling CEFCU/CEFCU Investment Services (CIS)/CEFCU Financial Services (CFS) products and services to members as well as utilizing Creating Member Loyalty (CML) skills. Responsibilities include processing transactions, resolving account issues, and answering member questions, while using third-party systems for check scanning and transaction verification. The position requires compliance with government regulations and CEFCU policies, maintaining cash drawer limits, and achieving performance goals. Additionally, the role emphasizes member satisfaction, promoting a professional image, teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and contributing to office duties.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Friday: 7:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:45 a.m. - 1:15p.m.
Flexibility in scheduling is required. Saturdays required with a day off during the week.Required:0-2 years' experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registration (NMLS) to comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act).Successful completion of the formal Member Assistant Training module.Ability to balance cashier's checks and money orders, and other receptionist duties (telephone etiquette, lobby tracking system, brochure and rate updates, etc.Punctual and regular attendance.Flexible working hours needed to meet various department needsAbility to work with minimal supervision.Must possess a current, valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.Preferred:Applicable college courses and/or commensurate experience.

Summary Pay Range

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $18.56 - $21.81.This position also includes an hourly shift premium of $0.60.

The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.

Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
