Job Details Experience

Hands-on accounting

  • 10-15+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Manager with progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Construction industry experience (strongly preferred) General contractor, specialty contractor - drilling and shoring contractor (commercial/ residential)
  • Experience supporting companies in the $15 million to $20 million revenue range
  • Technical Construction Knowledge (beneficial)
  • Percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
  • Work-in-progress (WIP) schedules
  • Job costing
  • Change orders
  • Project profitability analysis
  • Retainage accounting
  • Progress billing (AIA billing)
  • Certified payroll / Union payroll
  • Equipment costing
  • Overhead allocation
  • Cash flow forecasting for projects
