What are we looking for

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Warehouse Worker located in Las Vegas, NV, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do

We are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses (Natural Stone Slab Yard) to increase our efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. As a warehouse worker, your daily tasks include the preparation of merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing, staging, and preparing finished products for shipping. You will be responsible for the effective distribution of Cosentino products. 

To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. In this position, there will be different fronts you are going to be working with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution. 

  • Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container
  • Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane
  • Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments
  • Repair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipments
  • Move waste from containers to dumpsters
  • Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damages
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
  • Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met

What you need to succeed

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Required:

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc)

Desired:

  • Previous industry experience

EDUCATION
Desired:

  • High School Diploma/GED

SKILLS
Required:

  • Ability to carry and lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The starting hourly range for this position is $18 - 20/hr

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Paid time off:
Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
